Fun facts

  1. The coat of arms without a coat of arms

Atzeneta does not carry the municipal coat of arms, but the figure of the coat of arms loose on the ground. It is a direct translation: instead of a framed coat of arms, only the castle appears, larger.

  2. The brick is drawn

The castle is not a yellow silhouette: the brick joints are marked in lines. That detail is what makes it read as a brick building rather than any tower.

  3. Red and yellow, the local colours

The red ground and the yellow figure are the colours of the Maestrat. Valencian flags usually work with the palette of their comarca, and here the figure and the ground share the two tones.
