Escudo cuartelado con escusón y bordura, timbrado con yelmo.
- Cuartel 1.º
- en campo de oro, el Cerro de la Silla y por su cumbre un sol de gules; en primer término, un naranjo frutado.
- Cuartel 2.º
- en campo de plata, un león rampante de gules, coronado, lampasado y armado de oro.
- Cuartel 3.º
- sobre fondo de plata y en colores naturales, el Antiguo Convento de San Francisco.
- Cuartel 4.º
- en campo de oro, cinco chimeneas humeantes de sable.
- Escusón
- en campo de plata, una cadena de sable alrededor y banda del mismo color.
- Bordura
- de azur, con distintas armas, todas de plata; arriba, tres abejas doradas de cada lado y, abajo, el nombre del Estado de Nuevo León.
