Paño de proporción 2:3, cortado en dos franjas horizontales iguales, de gules (rojo) la superior y parda la inferior, con el escudo de la ciudad centrado.
De sinople (verde), un burgo de plata (blanco), con sendos escudetes de plata con castillos de oro (amarillo). Debajo del burgo, un rey al natural, coronado de oro y vestido de gules con castillos de oro. Triple filete de oro, gules y oro. Flanqueado por dos ramas de sinople, entre las que se enlaza una cinta de gules con letras de sable (negro) y las leyendas «Caput Castellae», «Camera Regia» y «Prima Voce et Fide». Al timbre, corona.
